I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had many things to be thankful for. Today's weather was beautiful, not too cold but just right. I love this outfit SO MUCH! I got the lace gray dress and my gold collar necklace from Rue 21 on Black Friday. The gray lace dress was on for 9 dollars, originally priced at 26.99 (SCORE!). The gold collar necklace was 9.99 but I got it for 5.98. I thought, that was an good deal. I posted a Youtube video on the stuff that I got from Black Friday, if you haven't already, CHECK IT OUT. I was expecting more deals from other stores but all in all, it was a good Black Friday!
I love my mother

LOOKBOOK Spotlight: Dana

November 22, 2011

This weeks LOOKBOOK spotlight features Dana from Seattle. She's a fifteen year old with a great eye for fashion. I love how she mixes  goodwill pieces with modern pieces to create a unique look. Her style is a total reflection of outfits I wouldn't mind wearing. She was so kind enough to answer a couple of questions I had for her!

Name: Dana
Age: 15
Where are you from: Seattle
Where do you get your style inspiration from: Tumblr, other fashion blogs, and my fabulous friends!
Do you have a style icon: I don't really have anyone in particular, but I do love Alexa Chung, Mary Kate and Ashley, and Miley Cyrus's style.
How would you describe your style: I'm not really sure how to answer this.. some days it's more boho, some days more urban, and some days I like to just dress like an old man!
Where is your favorite place to shop: GoodWill!
What is one item that you can't wait to buy: I would love a faux fur collar
What interests you about fashion: I love that fashion is a way to express yourself on a daily basis. It makes every day a little more fun.
What is your #1 fall must have in your wardrobe: It would have to be either big sweaters, or high waisted shorts.

Any word of advice for those trying to find their personal style: Just wear what you love and what you are comfortable in. Don't listen to what anyone else thinks!

OOTD: Let the leaves fall down, Im coming clean!

November 21, 2011

I made theses earrings, I was going to order something very similar at but I just decided to save some money and try making them myself. I thought it came out pretty good, this project inspired me to do more DIY projects. Every piece from this earring was taken from items I found in my room. The chain piece I got from a feather hair extension, the cross pendant was actually from a necklace and the circle helix earrings I took from my jewelry organizer. It was used to help zip it closed.
These have to be my favorite pair of denim jeans, surprisingly I was a bit skeptical when purchasing them, but I'm glad I did, THEY ARE AWESOME!

The leaves on the trees have pretty much fallen off, and all I get pleasure in doing is throwing them in the air and just standing there as they fall down. I wish I could just collect all the pretty ones and preserve them in my basement or something XD I hope everyone had a great day. *FancySmooches*

Outfit Of The Day: A Slight Addiction

November 16, 2011

Hope everyone had a lovely Wednesday, It rained pretty much all day. I woke up 20 minutes earlier than usual to get ready for school, I was just FEELING GOOD and READY TO LEARN. As soon as I step outside to leave, that "wonderful mood" just went away XD. The rain ruined it for me! But on the good note, I encountered a new addiction: Wolf shirts,  I got my shirt from Wal Mart of all places, and when I saw it, I was like "SCORE, I'm getting it". I thought it was really different and unique. I wore it with my black jeggings, which I am in love with, they are so comfortable! *FancySmooches*

T.J. Maxx Haul

November 14, 2011

Hey Guys, so I went to T.J. Maxx a couple of days ago and picked up a few pieces. Like I said in my last post, I didn't buy a lot there because I'm trying to save up some money for Black Friday. I plan on just doing most of my Christmas shopping that day because prices on items are marked down tremendously. I going to take advantage of the sales and get a lot of stuff for less. The pieces that I bought from T.J. Maxx were muchly needed in my wardrobe (sweater, cardigan, jeggings and boots). My new faze this week are sweaters, you can never go wrong with them. Just place it with a really nice chunky scarf, skinnies or high waisted shorts and you are good to go. *FancySmooches*

Sweater Fever

November 7, 2011

I hope everyone had a good Monday! Thanks to daylight savings time, I was able to get one extra hour of sleep, I can't complain. Today was such a beautiful day, the weather was in my favor. The trees are looking prettier and prettier each day with the changes in color. I LOVE IT! Today I wore an over sized sweater that I recently bought from the thrift store. Its an American eagle sweater ( size XXL), I love that its baggy and loose which equals comfort, the sweater was 15.90, a bit pricey for a thrift item, but it was well worth the price.  *FancySmooches*

Laced to the Tea

My shoe collection seems to be  growing more and more these days. I recently ordered some high knee boots from, these are my first pair of high knee boots, I seem to stick to ankle/ mid calf boots but these boots were an exception. What I love most about these boots are the lace up detail and the rusty look. I've seen many high knew boots but known with the lace up detail, which I think is so unique.

Next item on my wish list for boots will be Chelseas with studs. Most of the ones I have seem so far are pricey for my budget( like the ones in the picture below). I hope to get lucky and see them at a thrift store but that would be rare knowing I'm a size 10. I have high hopes for my search of Chelsea boots for a good price.
