PRIMARY colors in my closet

GREETINGS everyone! 

          I just wanted to share with you guys my favorite colors to wear at the moment! Primary colors are truly unique: Red, Yellow and Blue! For this fall and winter I am seeking to wear more deep reds, mustards and cobalt blues. Just even colorblocking with these colors can be very pleasing to the eye and they compliment each other very nicely.

        I started my second year in college on Monday, and so far it's great! Alot of assignments have been given to me but what to do, it's part of going to school, you have to work for it. The last picture is what I wore for the first day. I'm sure many people on campus by now know me as the "hat girl", because I pretty much throw one on for a finishing look to almost every outfit, especially when I have braids. I had to rethink about my "casual on the first day rule"  when I woke up on Monday because I felt like wearing a skirt. I went with my mood and wore one, plus I really wanted to wear my mustard blouse I recently got from Forever21. I purchased it in store but they have a teal color available online.

 I am back to my braids, it took me like 3 days to do them only because I had work, school and sometimes it was complete laziness, haha! I plan on spraying some color hair spray when I start to get bored with the plain black color, I'll probaly just spray the ends of my hair, like I did HERE.

 Is anyone as excited for fall/winter as me? The thought of layering my clothes and warm colors just give me the chills, plus I bought this cute faux leather jacket  that I plan on studding  and I really want to wear it soon but the heat is making that impossible. Please come fast fall/winter!

My Back to School Looks

Hahah, I had fun making this video for my Youtube channel! I always cringe when I watch my videos though.  Watching them, I find it AWKWARD most of the time, heehee. 

Make sure to check out my other videos (except the older ones, their so embarrassing.. EKK) I promised myself I wouldn't take them down because I want people to see my growth and progress as time goes on, and hopefully it can encourage others to make their own channel.

    Hey Guys!! ! I recently went to Houston,Texas with my mother for a wedding, my cousin was getting married. The event was lovely, and it was nice to meet new family members, as my family is HHUUUGGGEEEE. While I was down there, I managed to do some shopping, I could feel the pitch in my wallet every time I purchased some thing because tax in Texas is like 8.25%. I am so use to paying 6% in Maryland, ahaha. I got alot of lovely things along with the polka top I am wearing above, you guys will see the remaining things in some coming outfit post. I really enjoyed my time in Texas and I can't wait to go back and visit my aunt. 

       As my second year of college in slowly creepying up on me (less than two weeks. eekks), I am in the process of putting together my "Back to School outfits," video, how exciting, right?! The video will be on a couple of outfits that I plan on wearing for the upcoming school year. I sooo can't wait for fall time, which to me, equals boots, blazers, tights and LAYERINGS!

       Stating the obvious, I cut my hair not to long ago, I had plenty of split ends. Now that I am going all natural, I was so eager for the first time ever to get a hair cut/trim. I am really liking my hair curly. My hair routine in the morning is so easy, it simply consist of the "shake and go" technique.

   
 P.S. Thank you all for the lovely response from my "DIY: Flower Crown" post! I'm glad I could have many of you guys saying that you would try the tutorial out. I'm already planning a post for another DIY, it will involve jewels :3

DIY: Flower Crown

Using your glue gun, glue three chenille stems together to build some support for when you add your flowers to your crown. You can glue more than three together if you want more support!

Make three different ones then glue them together in a size that best fits your head when you wear it! Chenille steam are very bendable so you can always adjust the tightness when it's on

Detach your flowers from the steam, you can even cut off some leaves to add to the crown!

Glue the flowers little steam directly on to the chenille steam (the flat part)

Repeat previous step all around or until satisfied with your flower crown. The same also goes for adding your leaves!

 So we all have our fashion fazes we go through! Mine lately has been the need to wear "FLOWER CROWNS."  What I love most about them is that they are easy to make and are really unique... plus I feel like a flower princess when I wear them. If you are like me and love flower crowns, feed your craving and MAKE SOME!!!! Did I mention this DIY cost me less than five dollars to make.....SCORE!
